Making Barbarians

The talented team at Tooting Arts Club were cool enough to let me film them, as they put together their current production, a site-specific staging of Barrie Keefe’s seminal Seventies play, Barbarians. Here’s the story of how they did it and what happened when an old abandoned building in Soho, with historical connections to the genesis of UK Punk, became the site of a unique staging of a seminal and shocking Seventies play.
